"Dhrubotara" By Sayani Sarkar and Sneha Roy Releases This Valentine's Day.



The story of "Dhrubotara" by Sayani Sarkar and Sneha Roy is set in a gangar ghat where Dhrubo, a 25 year old sits and recalls all the happy memories he spent with his fiancee on their wedding day and on the other hand Tara, 23 years old appears and asks dhrubo to return home as it is getting colder outside and Dhrubo after returning home he stands and breaks down in front of Tara's photo frame revealing that his fiancee has already passed away. 

Suddenly a suspicious call sends chills down Dhrubo's spine leaving the audience to create their own ending to the story. It was later revealed that Dhrubo was hallucinating Tara at the beginning of the story..

Dhrubotara is a film by 2 struggling independent directors,  Sayani Sarkar and Sneha Roy. DOP duties and editing are handled perfectly by Soumadip Mondal. Poster is made by Debjit. The story features Soumya Majumder, Anandarupa Palit and Soumadip Mondal
